Steve Sullivan: Encylopedia of Great Popular Song Recordings

Steve Sullivan:

Encyclopedia of Great Popular Song Recordings

Steve Sullivan’s Encyclopedia of Great Popular Song Recordings is as good as it gets when it comes to music writing. In his two-volume set, he explores more than 1000 songs in detail. He organizes the songs in the book into ten playlists covering different genres, eras, and themes. However, I’ve listed the songs her alphabetically by song title. Links will go to devoted Dave’s Music Database pages.

Click here to see other lists from critics and individuals and here to see other lists from publications and/or organizations.
