Anglosphere: #1 Songs

Songs to Reach #1 in Australia, Canada, UK, and the U.S.

Since the United States starting charting songs as far back as 1898 and the United Kingdom started in 1950, there have been more than 1300 and 2000 #1 songs on the charts respectively. Only 264 songs have reached the pinnacle on both sides of the pond – all of which are listed chronologically on this page.

When one factors in the Australian and Canadian charts as well (the four countries are sometimes referred to as the Anglosphere), only 132 songs have topped all four charts. Those songs are marked with an asterisk (*).

Note: the dates refer to the song’s first chart appearance or release date.
