Juno Award: International Albums of the Year, 1975-2022

Juno Award:

International Album of the Year, 1975-2022

The Juno Awards are given to Canadian musical artists and bands by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. They are the equivalent of the Grammys in the United States. They were most recently given on June 29, 2020.

The International Album of the Year, generally given to a non-Canadian album, has been awarded since 1975. It has also been known as “Best Selling International Album” (1975-1980), “Best Selling Album by a Foreign Artist” (1992), and “Best Selling Album (Foreign or Domestic)” (1993-2002). Because of the occasional rule changes, Canadians Bryan Adams and Celine Dion have won the award.
