Adult-contemporary/pop singer born 1/24/1941 in Brooklyn, NY. His real name is Neil Diamond, however he considered changing his name to Noah Kaminsky early in his career. Worked as songplugger/staff writer in NYC; also wrote under pseudonym Mark Lewis. Worked in the Brill Building, legendary for housing some of pop music's most successful songwriters and publishers.
