About the Album:

In 1993, Prince released two compilations known as The Hits 1 and The Hits 2. They could be purchased separately or as part of the box set The Hits/The B-Sides. The box set was the only way to purchase The B-Sides, a collection of (mostly) B-sides of singles released from 1981 to 1989.
